2026 Arkansas Quail and Turkey Stamp Competition

Nationwide call for artists to create artwork for conservation stamps. Grand prize $2,500. Open to US residents 18+.

Historic Cane Hill, in partnership with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, is seeking artists for the 2026 Arkansas Northern Bobwhite Conservation Stamp and Eastern Wild Turkey Conservation Stamp competition. This is a nationwide opportunity open to all United States residents 18 years of age or older.

Since their inception, these voluntary stamps have generated over $2.72 million for habitat restoration work benefiting quail and turkeys across 54 projects on public land throughout approximately 18,435 acres in Arkansas. Your artwork could directly contribute to wildlife conservation efforts.

Competition Details:
A panel of jurors will evaluate each submission based on artistic quality and accuracy in depicting the northern bobwhite quail and eastern wild turkey species in their traditional Arkansas habitats.

Prizes and Recognition:
- Grand Prize (1st place): $2,500 + artwork featured on stamp
- Second Place: $500
- Third Place: $250
- All accepted artwork will be exhibited at Historic Cane Hill Gallery

Exhibition:
A public exhibition will be held at Historic Cane Hill Gallery (14627 State Hwy 45, Canehill) from March 14 to April 18, 2026. An opening ceremony with winner announcements is scheduled for Saturday, March 14. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday-Saturday.
