2026 Art Odyssey Studio Tour - Artist Applications
Local artists wanted for 3-day studio tour in Arkansas Ozarks. Open to all media types. Apply by Feb. 19, 2025.
Art Odyssey is seeking artists for the 2026 Studio Tour, a three-day public event scheduled for September 24-26, 2025. This exciting opportunity invites artists to open their studio doors and share their creative process with art enthusiasts from across the Arkansas Ozarks region. The tour celebrates the diversity of artistic expression in the area and provides a platform for artists to showcase their work directly to the public.
All artists in the Mountain Home area, including Baxter County and surrounding counties, are encouraged to apply. The opportunity welcomes artists working in a wide range of media, including but not limited to: painting, sculpture, pottery, photography, fiber art, woodturning, carving, mosaics, basketry, and mixed media.
While having a dedicated working studio is encouraged, it is not required. Artists without a traditional studio space are also invited to submit applications. This inclusive approach ensures that emerging and established artists alike can participate in this community-building event.
To apply, artists must submit a completed application form along with photographs of three current works. All applications will be evaluated through a jurying process to select participants for the tour. The application materials can be obtained at theartodyssey.com or picked up in person at the Baxter County Library. Completed applications should be mailed or delivered to the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County located at 300 Library Hill Lane, Mountain Home, AR 72653.
During the tour, participating artists' studios will be open to the public, allowing visitors to explore creative workspaces and witness the artistic process firsthand. This is an excellent opportunity for artists to connect with their community, gain exposure, and build relationships with fellow artists and art enthusiasts.
