2026 Nature Art Showcase & Sale - Call for Artists
Artists of all ages invited to showcase nature-inspired artwork in 2D/3D visual arts. Special 'On the Wing' category for winged creatures.
The Council on Greenways & Trails and the Penn Soil Resource Conservation & Development Council are inviting artists and artisans of all ages, including students, to participate in the 2026 Nature Art Showcase & Sale. This comprehensive exhibition welcomes original creations and interpretations in both 2D and 3D visual arts, including painting, drawing, sculpture, fabric art, and photography. Additionally, artists engaged in creating unique items such as jewelry, wearable art, pottery, metal fabrication, and woodworking are encouraged to participate. Each artist may submit one or two pieces, with the option to list them for sale or display only. This year features a special optional category called 'On the Wing,' celebrating artwork inspired by all natural creatures with wings. Artwork must represent the natural or outdoor recreational assets of Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Forest, or Warren counties. The public will vote for People's Choice awards and will have the opportunity to meet the artists. This is an excellent opportunity for artists to showcase their nature-inspired work, connect with the community, and potentially sell their pieces while celebrating the natural beauty of the region.
