33rd Annual Holiday Artists Market - Vendor Call

West Michigan's Holiday Artists Market returns December 7, 2024. Open call for vendors with 20 booths reserved for KCAD students at no cost.

The 33rd Annual Holiday Artists Market returns to Grand Rapids on Saturday, December 7, 2024, hosted by The Spark at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University. This year's market will showcase more than 50 vendors displaying their work at KCAD's 17 Fountain St. NW building from 10am to 4pm.

This highly anticipated market brings thousands of shoppers to support the local creative economy and purchase unique, hand-crafted items. Visitors can explore original artwork, jewelry, ceramics, fiber arts, prints, home goods, toys, and more from West Michigan's creative community.

The market offers a special opportunity for current KCAD students, with 20 booths exclusively reserved for them. Application and booth fees are completely waived for KCAD students, providing valuable experience in operating within an artist market and a platform to showcase their work.

Vendor applications are open now through June 22, 2024. Accepted artists will be notified by June 28. All types of artists, designers, and makers working in various media are encouraged to apply.

This market has been a cornerstone of the region's creative community since 1988. Previously hosted by the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts (which closed in 2023), the annual event continues its mission to champion local creatives and support artists and makers under the new management of The Spark and KCAD.
