410 Project Annual Juried Exhibition 2026

Annual juried art exhibition featuring 153 works by 70 artists from southern and central Minnesota, running through March 21.

The 410 Project gallery in Mankato is hosting its annual Juried Exhibition, an open-entry show running through March 21, 2026. The exhibition features 153 works by 70 creatives from southern and central Minnesota, showcasing a wide range of mediums and themes. Artists were able to submit up to three works for consideration. The exhibition includes significant political and social commentary, with much of the work created in recent months addressing current events including immigration enforcement and community resistance. The gallery has organized community gatherings such as poster-making events and coffee gatherings to create safe spaces for artistic expression and civic engagement. The 410 Project serves as a space for artists and community members to process current events, support immigrant communities, and visualize resistance through creative practice. Gallery director Dana Sikkila emphasizes that art serves as a form of advocacy, allowing people to use their voice in ways that feel safe and comfortable. The exhibition features diverse artistic responses including paintings, watercolors, and mixed media works addressing themes of identity, immigration, and community resilience. Community spaces like the 410 Project have adapted programming in response to current events, creating opportunities for artists to showcase their work and continue important narratives about social justice and civic participation.
