51st Juried Exhibition - Call for Art
The Lyndon House Arts Center invites Athens-area visual artists to submit up to 3 artworks for the 51st Juried Exhibition, juried by Michelle Yun Mapplethorpe.
The Lyndon House Arts Center (LHAC) announces an online call for artwork submissions for the 51st Juried Exhibition. This prestigious exhibition will be juried by Michelle Yun Mapplethorpe, Director and Chief Curator of the Katonah Museum of Art in Katonah, New York.
Submissions will be accepted exclusively online through ArtCall.org from January 6, 2026 at 7:00 a.m. through January 20, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Athens-area visual artists aged 18 and older are invited to submit up to three entries for consideration. An entry fee of $35 is required per submission.
The Athens area service region includes the following counties: Banks, Barrow, Clarke, Elbert, Franklin, Greene, Hall, Hart, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Walton, and Wilkes.
For artists needing assistance with the online application process, an Application Clinic will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the Community Room at the Lyndon House Arts Center. No appointment is necessary; attendees should bring all required materials in digital format.
Juror selections will be completed by January 29, 2026. Artwork delivery for selected works is scheduled for Friday, February 13, 2026, and Saturday, February 14, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The 51st Juried Exhibition opens to the public on March 19, 2026, and will remain on view through May 16, 2026.
