63rd Wickford Art Festival - Artist Call
Join 200+ artists at Rhode Island's prestigious Wickford Art Festival. Applications open through March 15, 2026.
The Wickford Art Festival is calling for artists to participate in its 63rd annual celebration of fine art, taking place on July 12, 2026, at Wilson Park in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Produced by the Wickford Art Association since 1962, this prestigious event attracts some of the top fine artists from across the country, alongside well-known and beloved New England and local Rhode Island artists.
The festival showcases approximately 200 artists displaying fine art in diverse mediums including ceramics, wood, wearable and decorative fiber, furniture, fine jewelry, drawing, etching, glass, mixed media, painting (watercolors, oil, gouache, acrylic), photography, printmaking, pyrography, and sculptures.
The event runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and features a vibrant atmosphere with food trucks, Del's Lemonade, and the beloved strawberry shortcakes at First Baptist Church. Admission is free for the public, and Rhode Island does not collect sales tax on fine art sales, making it an ideal venue for artists to connect with collectors.
Parking is available at Wilson Park with a suggested $10 donation, and complimentary shuttle service is provided from Wickford Middle School and First Church of Science. The historic Wickford village, just a quarter mile from the park, features beautiful waterfront views, historic homes, quality shops, and various restaurants, creating an ideal destination for both artists and art enthusiasts.
The Wickford Art Association also maintains an information booth where attendees can purchase exclusive festival apparel and participate in a scholarship raffle with opportunities to win original artwork.
