8th Annual Tiny Art Show - Call to Artists

Submit miniature artwork (max 6" per side) for exhibition and sale. Deadline January 19. All pieces priced at $20, proceeds benefit Art Center.

Art Center of the Bluegrass is excited to announce the Call to Artists for the 8th Annual Tiny Art Show, a fun and fanciful exhibit and sale celebrating miniature masterpieces. This unique event welcomes submissions from established professional artists, students, supporters, and anyone interested in creating small-scale art.

The Tiny Art Show is designed to be inclusive and creative, with minimal restrictions on artistic medium. While most submissions are paintings on small canvases, the show has historically featured diverse creative media including mosaics, wrought iron, ceramics, quilting, felt art, and photography. Participating artists range from established professionals to young children.

The exhibition will run from January 19 through February 21 in the Main Exhibit Hall at 401 W. Main Street in Danville, Kentucky. An annual Tiny Art Show Sale will be held on February 21 at 6 pm, with doors opening at 5 pm for viewing. Artists remain anonymous until after their piece is purchased, adding an element of mystery to the event. Artist information is provided on a tag attached to the back of each piece.

Nearly every artwork is priced at $20, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Art Center's mission of connecting all people to art, culture, and creativity. This is an excellent opportunity for artists of all levels to participate in a community art event while supporting an important cultural institution.
