9th Annual CTAC Youth Art Show
Chisholm Trail Arts Council invites K-12 students to submit artwork for Youth Art Month exhibition in March with cash prizes and ribbons.
The Chisholm Trail Arts Council (CTAC) is calling for young artists from Stephens County to participate in the 9th Annual Youth Art Show, part of Youth Art Month beginning March 6, 2026. This exhibition showcases creative masterpieces from students across the county and provides a valuable opportunity for youth to have their artwork spotlighted in the CTAC gallery.
The opening reception will be held Friday, March 6, from 5:00-6:30 p.m., featuring artwork from students in all Stephens County schools (public, private, and homeschooled). The event is open to school administration, family, and friends, with light refreshments available.
All students, grades K-12, are encouraged to participate. Each student may submit one to three pieces. Awards will recognize outstanding artwork with cash prizes and first, second, and third place ribbons in three age categories: elementary, middle school, and high school.
The exhibition runs March 6-26 in the CTAC gallery at 810 W. Walnut in Duncan. Artwork must hang through April 3, and CTAC will use clamps for hanging. Collection begins March 30-April 3. CTAC is not responsible for uncollected artwork after April 3.
Submissions must meet specific requirements: artwork must be hang-ready with appropriate hanging systems and hooks (no sawtooth hangers), can be matted on foam poster board or construction paper, and must be properly labeled on the back with student name, school name, grade, teacher/parent name, and contact information including phone and email.
