AI Artists Alliance Accelerator Program
Collaborative 6-month artist accelerator focusing on AI as shared terrain. Selected artists receive up to $5,000 grants.
The Brill Family Foundation/AI Artists Alliance's Artist Accelerator Program invites artists to explore artificial intelligence not as individual tools, but as shared creative terrain. Rather than competition, the program emphasizes collaboration and collective discovery.
Following the lineage of Fluxus workshops, conceptual collectives, and early cybernetic labs, the Accelerator treats creation as a conversation rather than solitary practice. Participants join an established cohort with a defined thematic direction, combining independent artistic practice with collaborative engagement over an initial six-month period.
The program offers freedom within a shared framework, with potential for additional grants extending beyond the initial term. Artists are expected to actively contribute to group processes and develop meaningful outputs both individually and collectively. The accelerator emphasizes focused development, momentum, and public or tangible outcomes that advance the shared theme.
Selected participants may receive grants up to $5,000, though funding is conditional upon full and successful participation. This is positioned as an active working group opportunity rather than solely a funding program. Artists must be willing to adopt the thematic direction, work collaboratively toward common goals, and meet contractual expectations clarified in advance.
A limited number of artists will be interviewed for selection.
