All One, One All Artist-in-Residence Program 2025

Immerse yourself in a 14-acre silvopasture farm in Goshen, NY. Create art inspired by nature and sustainable agriculture.

All One, One All (AOOA) is accepting applications for their annual Artist-in-Residence program, offering a unique opportunity for artists to explore the intersection of art, nature, and sustainable agriculture. This program is ideal for artists aged 18 and older who are passionate about environmental themes and regenerative practices.

The residency takes place at AOOA's stunning 14-acre silvopasture farm located at 221 Craigville Road in Goshen, New York. The property features an inspiring landscape that includes thousands of trees, thriving vegetable gardens, an apiary, Karakul sheep, heritage breed chickens, two resident dogs, and the farm's beloved mascot—a Toulouse goose named Bilou Bilou.

Residents will make weekly visits to the farm, allowing them to immerse themselves in the tranquil beauty of the landscape while developing their artistic practice. The program emphasizes the dynamic relationship between creative expression and sustainable land stewardship, providing a rich environment for artistic exploration and growth.

Throughout the residency, artists will have opportunities to engage with the broader community by leading creative workshops. This component allows residents to share their skills and perspectives while connecting with local audiences interested in art and environmental sustainability.

The program includes two significant exhibition opportunities. A mid-season art showcase will take place during Upstate Art Weekend, giving artists visibility within the regional art scene. An end-of-season exhibition in October provides a platform for artists to display, share, and sell their work created during the residency.

This residency is perfect for artists working in various media who seek inspiration from natural settings and want to explore themes of ecology, agriculture, and environmental consciousness. The combination of studio time, community engagement, and exhibition opportunities makes this a comprehensive program for artistic and professional development.
