Art by Kathy is an informal art class program sponsored by the Stafford Township Recreation Department, held at the Ocean Acres Community Center located at 489 Nautilus Drive. Classes are offered on Wednesdays from 1 to 3 p.m., providing a welcoming environment for artists of all skill levels to develop their creative abilities.
The program is led by artist Kathy Crocker and welcomes both beginners and intermediate artists. No prior experience is necessary to participate. Beginners will receive step-by-step instruction and guidance, while intermediate artists will benefit from assistance with color mixing, composition, and advanced techniques.
Participants can work with either watercolor or acrylic mediums, allowing for flexibility based on personal preference. The class emphasizes creating a safe, relaxed environment where artists can meet new friends and connect over their shared passion for creativity.
The cost per class is $20, and participants must bring their own art supplies. Classes operate on a flexible schedule, allowing artists to attend as their schedule permits.
