Art in Motion - Transit Bus Art Exhibition

City of Grants Pass seeking artists to display work on community transit buses. Open to 2D/3D media submissions from artists 18+.

The City of Grants Pass Committee on Public Art is launching the 'Art in Motion' program, an exciting opportunity for local artists to showcase their work in a highly visible public space. Selected artwork will be featured on vinyl prints displayed on both sides of Josephine community transit buses, reaching thousands of community members during the year-long exhibition period.

This program welcomes artists of all skill levels and specializations working in diverse artistic mediums. Eligible artwork includes painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital graphics, engraving, sculpture, glass, wood, metal, jewelry, ceramics, and other 2D or 3D media. Artists must be at least 18 years old to participate. AI-generated content is not permitted in submissions.

Each artist may submit up to four images for consideration. The selected artwork will be displayed on transit buses from approximately May 2026 through May 2027, providing an extended exhibition opportunity in a community-focused setting. This is an excellent platform for artists to gain public exposure and contribute to the cultural enrichment of the Grants Pass area.

Submissions should include high-quality images of proposed work with all relevant details. The application process is straightforward and accessible through the city's official website. This is a fantastic opportunity for emerging and established artists to engage with the community and expand their artistic reach.
