ArtPort in the Airport - Monthly Artist Exhibition
Columbus Municipal Airport seeks artists for monthly gallery exhibitions in 2026. Display work to 7,000+ monthly visitors.
ArtPort in the Airport is an exciting exhibition opportunity at Columbus Municipal Airport featuring a new art gallery seeking guest artists for monthly exhibitions throughout 2026. This is an open call for artists of all mediums and experience levels to showcase their work in a high-traffic location.
The gallery space is approximately 52 feet long and is located at the airport terminal building entrance (first door on the right as visitors enter from Ray Boll Boulevard). The gallery attracts more than 7,000 passengers and restaurant patrons monthly, providing significant exposure for participating artists.
Technical specifications for artwork include: pieces must be able to be hung from hooks on acrylic rods. Artwork can be framed or unframed. The gallery features professional lighting with both fluorescent and LED track lighting to properly illuminate displayed works.
Depending on the number of artists selected, multiple artists may have their work displayed simultaneously each month. This creates an opportunity for both emerging and established artists to gain visibility in a professional setting with consistent foot traffic.
The airport is actively recruiting artists for the entire year of 2026, with monthly rotation of guest artists. This provides multiple opportunities throughout the year for different artists to participate.
