ArtVilnius'26 - 17th Edition Applications
International contemporary art fair in the Baltic region seeking gallery and artist applications for October 2026 edition.
ArtVilnius'26 announces an open call for applications for its 17th edition, inviting galleries and artists from across Europe and beyond to participate in this premier contemporary art fair. The fair will take place October 1–4, 2026, with a VIP Preview on October 1 at LITEXPO in Vilnius, Lithuania.
ArtVilnius is the first and largest contemporary art fair in the Baltic region, established as an international meeting point bringing together collectors, galleries, artists, curators, institutions, and art professionals from across Europe. The fair hosts approximately 70 galleries and institutions from more than 20 countries, attracting 18,000–23,000 visitors annually. Recent editions have welcomed notable collectors and achieved strong sales results, with over 90% of participating galleries selling works.
Gallery Applications: Selected galleries will present artworks in customizable stands ranging from 30 to 50 square metres. Special conditions are available for emerging galleries operating fewer than three years and galleries from Poland and Austria. A jury of art critics and art market professionals will select approximately 70 galleries. The selection committee includes Marta Kołakowska (Director, LETO Gallery, Warsaw), Sonata Baliuckaitė Arlauskienė (Artistic Director, ArtVilnius), and Jurgita Juospaitytė Bitinienė (Director, The Rooster Gallery, Vilnius).
The Path - Artist Group Exhibition: Individual artists are invited to propose projects for inclusion in this annual group exhibition focusing on sculpture, performance, and installation. This year's curator is Aliaksei Barysionak, a curator and writer based in Vienna.
Special Focus: The 17th edition features a special focus on contemporary art scenes of Vilnius, Vienna, and Warsaw, fostering cross-regional exchange. The Project Zone, curated by Neringa Bumblienė, traces connections between these three capitals, expanding conventional regional perspectives.
Venue: Located 15 minutes from Vilnius city centre, LITEXPO offers 12,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor space across three halls with flexible architectural layouts and efficient logistics.
