The Astana Art Fair 2025 is a three-day international contemporary art exhibition running from October 24-26 at the Congress Center in Astana. Under the theme 'Future Roots,' the fair presents over 200 works exploring cultural origins as sources of creative impulses and future visions. The event features artists and galleries from Central Asia, Russia, and China, positioning Astana as a hub for artistic dialogue. Supported by the Astana city administration and organized by the Urpaq association, this initiative aims to strengthen the creative economy and expand the regional art market. The fair includes an 'Independent Voices: Future Roots' section created through an open call for emerging artists. Beyond exhibitions, the fair offers a comprehensive public program featuring lectures by art experts including Valeria Ibraeva and Christianna Bonin, workshops such as experimental watercolor painting and zine creation, and public talks with renowned artists and curators.
