Be ARTsee Juried Art Show - Northwest Ohio Artists
Third annual juried art show in Defiance, OH open to artists 18+ from four counties. $25 entry fee for up to 2 works. Awards and sales opportunity.
The third annual Be ARTsee juried art show is seeking original artwork from residents of Defiance, Fulton, Henry, and Williams counties who are 18 years or older. This competitive exhibition welcomes all fine art media including painting, drawing, hand-pulled prints, collages, sculpture, mixed media, photography, ceramics, glass, jewelry, metalwork, fiber art, and woodwork. The show is limited to the first 35 artists, space permitting. The exhibition will run for four consecutive Sundays: October 26, November 2, 9, and 16 from 1-5 p.m. at the Defiance College Women's Commission Art Gallery. Artists can submit up to two original pieces for a non-refundable $25 entry fee. Special recognition includes judge's awards and a People's Choice Award, with the winner announced at the end of the four-week exhibit. The opening reception begins at 1 p.m. on October 26, with awards presented at 2 p.m. The show is open to the public and many artworks will be available for purchase, providing artists with both recognition and sales opportunities.
Submission Guidelines
Original artwork by current residents of Defiance, Fulton, Henry, or Williams counties, age 18+. All fine art media accepted. Maximum 2 entries per artist. $25 non-refundable entry fee. Entry form and payment must be postmarked by October 6.
