Black History Month Exhibition at Rogue Gallery
BASE invites Black artists of all ages and mediums to exhibit work for Black History Month 2026 at Rogue Gallery & Art Center in Medford.
Black Alliance & Social Empowerment (BASE) Southern Oregon is seeking Black artists to participate in a Black History Month exhibition at Rogue Gallery & Art Center. This is the third annual exhibition celebrating Black creativity and cultural contributions through visual and performing arts.
The exhibition welcomes artists of all ages—youth, adults, and elders—working in any medium including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, textiles, digital art, and spoken-word/lyrics on print. All artistic expressions are encouraged to apply.
The exhibition will be on display from January 20 to February 20, 2026, at Rogue Gallery & Art Center, located at 40 South Bartlett Street, Medford, Oregon.
A special feature of this year's exhibition is the "Roots, Rhythm & Revolution" group showcase by BASE youth, highlighting emerging young artists from the Black community. A closing reception will be held on February 20, 2026, providing an opportunity for artists and community members to celebrate together.
Participation is free and open to all Black artists in the Southern Oregon region and beyond. Artists can submit multiple pieces if desired. Each piece should be labeled with the artist's name and pricing information—either the sale price or "NFS" (Not For Sale) if the work is not available for purchase.
