Blue and White Invitational Exhibition

Holland Museum seeks artists for juried blue-and-white exhibition inspired by Dutch Delftware. June 12 - Oct. 18, 2026.

The Holland Museum, in collaboration with the Holland Area Arts Council, is inviting local artists to submit work for the Blue and White Invitational, a juried exhibition celebrating blue-and-white aesthetics. This contemporary art show runs from June 12 to October 18, 2026, and encourages artists to explore color, pattern, material, and concept through multiple artistic disciplines.

The exhibition welcomes submissions in ceramics, painting, photography, printmaking, textiles, glass, mixed media, sculpture, and more. Artists are encouraged to provide contemporary interpretations of traditional blue-and-white aesthetics, allowing for creative exploration across diverse mediums and styles.

Eligibility Requirements:
Artists must be 16 years of age or older to participate. Work submissions cannot exceed five feet in any dimension.

Submission Details:
Entry fees are structured as follows: $25 for one submission, $30 for two submissions, and $35 for three submissions. The submission deadline is May 18, 2026, with artist notifications to be sent by May 22, 2026.

Awards and Recognition:
The exhibition features monetary awards for achievement, with first place earning $350. Additional recognition includes second and third place awards, three honorary mentions, and a People's Choice Award voted by visitors.

Event Details:
An opening reception is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on June 12, 2026, at the Holland Museum, providing an opportunity for artists and the community to celebrate the exhibition.
