Call for Artists: Rhythm of the Stage Exhibition

Norfolk Arts invites visual artists 18 and older with ties to the Hampton Roads area to apply for Rhythm of the Stage, the second exhibition at The Gallery at The Attucks. This exciting opportunity celebrates the shared language between visual and performing arts, inviting artists to submit work that expresses the themes of movement, pattern, and performance. Black artists and artists whose work resonates with the cultural legacy of the Attucks Theatre are especially encouraged to apply. The exhibition will be curated by Nyree Dowdy, Arts Bridges Cultural Fellow from the Chrysler Museum of Art, ensuring a thoughtfully selected and professionally presented showcase. This is an excellent opportunity for emerging and established artists to gain exhibition visibility at a culturally significant venue in Norfolk.
