Call for Indigenous Artists - St. Paul's Hospital

St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon invites Indigenous artists to submit artwork proposals for the new Indigenous Healing Centre.

St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon is pleased to invite community members, partners, and Indigenous artists to participate in a Call for Proposals for artwork to be featured in the new Indigenous Healing Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for local Indigenous talent to contribute meaningful and culturally significant artwork to an important healthcare facility. The hospital is seeking to showcase Indigenous artistic voices and perspectives within the healing space, recognizing the importance of culturally appropriate art in healthcare environments. Artists are encouraged to submit proposals that reflect Indigenous artistic traditions, contemporary Indigenous art practices, or innovative interpretations that speak to healing, wellness, and community. This opportunity supports Indigenous artists while enhancing the cultural and aesthetic value of the new Indigenous Healing Centre. The artwork selected will be permanently featured in the facility, providing significant visibility and recognition for the chosen artists. St. Paul's Hospital Foundation - Saskatoon is coordinating this initiative as part of their commitment to supporting Indigenous communities and recognizing the vital role that art plays in promoting wellness and cultural celebration.
