Canyonlands Field Airport Gallery 2026
Local artists invited to submit work for airport gallery exhibition. Up to 30 hanging artworks selected for display and potential purchase.
Moab Arts is calling for submissions for the 2026 Canyonlands Field Airport Gallery, an annual exhibition showcasing local artists from the Grand County area. This program, which has been running since 2018, transforms the airport into a vibrant gallery space for both visitors and locals to enjoy and purchase artwork.
Up to 30 spots are available for hanging artworks, with additional pieces displayed at Moab City Hall. Selected artists have the opportunity to have their work featured in the airport gallery through approximately January 2027. Beyond the airport display, accepted artworks are eligible to be purchased as part of the city's permanent collection, which is displayed throughout various city buildings including City Hall, the Moab Recreation and Aquatic Center, and the Moab Arts and Recreation Center.
This initiative is part of Moab's comprehensive effort to showcase and support local art and artists throughout Grand County, contributing to the community's cultural landscape and providing economic opportunities for regional artists.
Submissions must be photos and dimensions for up to 3 works of art. Maximum dimensions (including frame) are 44" x 58". Only hanging works will be accepted; sculptures cannot be accommodated. All work must be in "ready to hang" condition by the drop-off date. Artists can view and purchase current works from previous exhibitions at https://www.moabarts.org/airport.
