CHINA EDM Vol.2 is a groundbreaking compilation project that marks China's first all-female electronic music compilation. Following the success of CHINA EDM Vol.1 in 2024, founder and producer/DJ ZHANGYE introduces this initiative to address the underrepresentation of female creators in Chinese electronic music. Over the past year, Chinese female DJs and producers have risen across major stages and international festivals, blending traditional influences with global sounds while pushing boundaries in house and techno. However, many remain underrepresented in the industry. This project opens submissions exclusively to female DJs and producers, with music quality as the sole standard for evaluation. The compilation is recruiting nine tracks across two submission categories. The Artist Group requires full music submissions and a complete artist profile, with evaluation considering music quality, reputation, stage performance, and social influence. The Newcomer Group requires music submission and a brief introduction, with evaluation focusing strictly on production quality through blind listening by industry professionals. All tracks must be 2-4 minutes in length, contain vocals, and include at least 50% English lyrics. Selected artists receive worldwide distribution with advance royalties, ensuring their music reaches global audiences. Additional benefits include access to cross-genre vocal collaborations with a superstar vocalist to be announced, performance slots at leading international EDM festivals, inclusion in the CHINA EDM LIVE Global Tour, official remixes by top European DJs, and extensive media coverage through Billboard, Mixmag, 1001Tracklists, RA, EDC.com, and WeRaveYou, alongside billions of impressions across Chinese social platforms.
