Colección Tropicalia Open Call for Caribbean Artists
Open call for Caribbean artists to contribute works to a living collection at Four Seasons Resort Dominican Republic at Tropicalia.
Colección Tropicalia announces its first open call for artists and designers from the Caribbean and its diaspora communities. Selected works will become part of the permanent collection and be displayed at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia in Miches. This cultural initiative aims to celebrate Caribbean creativity and artistic richness while contributing to conversations about art, place, and memory across the region. Artists from the Dominican Republic, insular and continental Caribbean, Indigenous creators connected to these regions, and diaspora community members are eligible to apply. Works must be completed, wall-mountable pieces suitable for tropical conditions, made from durable materials including natural fibers, ceramics, wood, canvas, metal, glass, resin, textiles, and mixed media. Dimensions should be roughly between 50 × 50 cm and 100 × 175 cm, suitable for indoor or outdoor display. All submitted works must be part of a series or limited edition. The collection is founded by Adriana Cisneros, CEO of Cisneros, as part of Tropicalia's commitment to redefining Caribbean tourism through cultural engagement and sustainable development.
