The West Orange Arts Council invites all members to submit work for the 2025 'Colores y Cultura' Hispanic Heritage Month exhibit, a vivid celebration of color, tradition, and identity. This exhibition welcomes 2-D visual art that captures the warmth, vibrancy, and music of Hispanic and Latinx communities across Latin America and the Caribbean. The show runs from September 10-October 16, 2025, at the West Orange Arts Center, with gallery hours on Saturdays from noon to 4pm. Artists can submit up to 3 pieces maximum, with works limited to 36 inches in any direction and weighing no more than 20 pounds. All artwork must be wired for hanging - no sawtooth hangers accepted. The participation fee is $15 plus 2 hours of gallery assistance during open hours. WOAC provides gallery space, marketing support including calendar listings, press releases, social media promotion, and email outreach. The organization takes a 25% commission on all sales. Drop-off is scheduled for Friday, September 5 (6-7pm) and Saturday, September 6 (10am-noon), with pickup in mid-October. A reception will be held either September 20 or 27 from 4-7pm.
