Common Threads: Textile & Fiber Arts Exhibition
Juried exhibition celebrating textile and fiber arts. All levels welcome. Submit work exploring connection through traditional or contemporary fiber media.
Studio ACE Gallery invites artists of all levels and backgrounds to participate in "Common Threads: The Fabric of Our Community," a juried exhibition celebrating the rich, expressive world of textiles and fiber arts. This exhibition recognizes that textiles are among the oldest and most universal artistic mediums, carrying stories in every stitch.
The exhibition welcomes diverse textile approaches including woven, sewn, dyed, layered, felted, quilted, knotted, and repurposed fiber-based materials. These tactile mediums offer a unique language that speaks to memory, identity, resilience, and cultural tradition. From intimate textures of handwork to bold contemporary experiments with fabric, thread, and mixed media, textile art demonstrates that creativity is something we all touch, wear, and share.
This exhibition seeks works that explore connection—connections between people, cultures, materials, and ideas. Artists are encouraged to submit pieces that honor traditional craft, push the boundaries of fiber as a modern art form, or reimagine textiles in unexpected ways. Whether your work is deeply personal, abstract, conceptual, or rooted in community stories, your voice is valued.
The exhibition opening reception takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 5 PM to 7 PM. This is an all-ages, free event open to the community.
Studio ACE Gallery is committed to fostering inclusive artistic expression and community engagement through contemporary fiber arts.
