Common Threads: The Fabric of Our Community
Juried textile and fiber arts exhibition celebrating connection through diverse artistic voices and mediums.
Studio ACE Gallery invites artists of all levels and backgrounds to submit work for Common Threads: The Fabric of Our Community, a juried exhibition celebrating the rich, expressive world of textiles and fiber arts. This exhibition seeks works that explore connection—connections between people, cultures, materials, and ideas. Textiles, among the oldest and most universal artistic mediums, carry stories in every stitch. The call welcomes pieces that honor traditional craft, push the boundaries of fiber as a modern art form, or reimagine textiles in unexpected ways. Whether your work is deeply personal, abstract, conceptual, or rooted in community stories, this is an opportunity to share your voice. The exhibition will be juried by Michelle Montjoy, a multi-disciplinary artist based in Oceanside, California with extensive exhibition history and recognition including California Arts Council awards. Submissions may include fiber art, vessels, wearable art, art quilts, traditional quilts, weaving, felting, knotting, basketry, and mixed media with minimum 75% fiber art. Artists retain 60% of sales proceeds. Artwork must be original, ready to install, and available for sale. The exhibition runs February 21 – March 27, 2026 at ACE Gallery in Oceanside, California, with an opening reception on February 21.
