Cover Design Competition: Guernsey Short Story Anthology

The Guernsey Literary Festival and Art for Guernsey are seeking local artists to create cover designs for 'Time & Tide', the inaugural Guernsey Short Story Anthology set for publication in 2026. This exciting collaboration celebrates the creative spirit of the Bailiwick by combining visual art with storytelling. Artists can work in any medium to create artwork inspired by the anthology's theme 'Time & Tide' - focusing on stories shaped by personal memories, imagined futures, and the rhythms of island life. The competition is open exclusively to local artists with a connection to Guernsey and the surrounding islands. The finished anthology will be published by Blue Ormer and officially launched during the Guernsey Literary Festival, which runs from April 24 to May 3, 2026. This represents a significant opportunity for local artists to have their work featured on a professionally published collection that will showcase Guernsey's literary and artistic talent. The project is made possible through sponsorship by Sarnia Hotels and partnerships with Art for Guernsey, Blue Ormer, and U&US. The selected cover design will become part of a lasting celebration of island creativity and culture.
