CultureAndHealth Platform 2025-26 Working Grants

€8,000 grants for artists to develop health and wellbeing projects through creative collaboration with non-cultural organizations across Europe.

The CultureAndHealth Platform invites artists, collectives, working groups, NGOs, and registered companies to apply for €8,000 working grants to develop innovative projects that enhance health and wellbeing through artistic practices and creative collaborations. This opportunity supports cross-disciplinary initiatives that bridge the gap between cultural and non-cultural sectors, fostering meaningful social impact across Europe.

Eight grants of €8,000 each will be awarded to selected projects through a two-stage application process. Projects must be developed in partnership with non-cultural organizations including hospitals, care homes, mental health services, schools, and community organizations. The program emphasizes smaller-scale, feasible initiatives rather than large institutional projects.

Key benefits for recipients include professional development opportunities, access to training and mentoring, participation in peer networks across Creative Europe countries, and increased visibility through European initiatives and events. Selected projects will receive funding in May or June 2026.

Eligibility is limited to residents or nationals of Creative Europe countries without a national CultureAndHealth call. Previous CultureAndHealth grant recipients are not eligible. Applicants must demonstrate how their creative practices will produce measurable outcomes for individual or community health and wellbeing.

The application process requires identifying a non-cultural partner and developing a comprehensive project proposal that clearly articulates the social impact, collaboration plans, budget, project activities, and expected outcomes. Applicants should emphasize previous experience in cross-disciplinary or community-based initiatives and ensure all eligibility criteria are met before submission.
