Cut, Paste, Create: A Collage Exhibition

International call for artists for juried collage exhibition. Submit original 2D/3D collage works by January 31, 2026.

The Ludington Area Center for the Arts (LACA) announces an international call for artists for 'Cut, Paste, Create: A Collage Exhibition,' a juried in-person exhibition celebrating the limitless possibilities of collage. The exhibit will run March 6–28, 2026, in LACA's main gallery located in downtown Ludington, Michigan.

This exhibition invites artists to explore the transformative nature of collage—how disparate elements can be layered, merged, reassembled, and reinvented into something entirely new. From analog paper collage to digital compositions, sculptural assemblage, and experimental mixed media, the exhibition seeks bold, imaginative works that push boundaries and challenge perception.

The exhibition highlights the expressive power of collage through texture, layering, abstraction, realism, and found materials. It showcases how ordinary objects and unexpected combinations can reveal new stories, new forms, and new ways of seeing. Artists are encouraged to submit works that bring elements together to create something fresh and original.

This call is open to all artists, 18 years and older, working in 2D or 3D collage, nationally and internationally. No reproductions or derivative works are accepted. Selected works will be exhibited in person, featured on LACA's Facebook page, and included in the exhibition regardless of sale status. Artists are responsible for shipping artwork to and from the gallery.
