DFW Terminal F Digital Art Installations Call for Artists
Create immersive digital video experiences for two corridors in DFW Airport's new Terminal F with dynamic visuals and interactive elements.
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has announced a public call for artists or artist teams to create immersive digital video experiences for two corridors in the upcoming Terminal F. The commissioned works will use corridor architecture to present engaging visual experiences across large digital displays. Each corridor will feature screens along both walls, showcasing dynamic visual narratives, soundscapes, and interactive elements designed to make everyday walks through the terminal memorable. Artists are invited to submit proposals inspired by four specific themes: connected journeys, legacy and innovation, cultural tapestry, and landscape tales—all celebrating the spirit, cultures, history, and landscapes of North Texas. DFW's public art program currently includes approximately 30 permanent installations and plans to expand with 16 additional works over four multi-year phases. These new pieces aim to enhance the travel experience, enrich public spaces, and highlight the region's cultural vibrancy. The call for artists is managed by global art consultancy MASSIVart, with significant participation from the local art community. A panel of North Texas art experts will provide recommendations on submitted proposals, ensuring local expertise guides the selection process.
