Display Your Work at Long Beach Island Library
Ocean County Library seeks artists to display artwork in meeting room and lobby display case on first-come, first-served basis.
The Long Beach Island Branch of the Ocean County Library is inviting creative individuals and artists from the Ocean County area to showcase their work. This is an excellent opportunity for emerging and established artists to share their creations with the local community.
Two display options are available:
1. Meeting Room Exhibit: Artists can display their work in the branch's meeting room. The space measures 20 feet by 39 feet by 10 feet with 25 hanging wires and 35 hooks available for installation. This larger space is ideal for comprehensive exhibitions or collections.
2. Lobby Display Case: The library also offers a glass display case in the lobby for collectors, artists, and hobbyists who wish to showcase their collections, crafts, or hobbies. The display case dimensions are 27 inches by 72 inches by 18 inches.
Both spaces are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so interested artists are encouraged to apply promptly. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain visibility within the community and connect with library patrons who appreciate and support the arts.
The Long Beach Island Branch welcomes all types of artwork and creative mediums. Whether you are a visual artist, sculptor, photographer, or collector, this venue provides an accessible platform to display your work in a respected community institution.
