Driftless Area Art Festival 2026 Call for Artists

The 22nd annual Driftless Area Art Festival is accepting artist applications until March 13, 2026, for a two-day event on September 19-20, 2026.

The Driftless Area Art Festival is currently accepting artist applications for its 22nd annual art festival scheduled for September 19-20, 2026. This signature fine art festival draws more than 3,000 visitors annually and is known for its strong artist support, loyal patrons, and welcoming atmosphere.

Eligibility: Artists who live or create in the Driftless region of Southwestern Wisconsin, Northeastern Iowa, Southeastern Minnesota, and Northwestern Illinois are invited to apply.

Accepted Categories: The festival accepts fine art handmade by the exhibitor in the following categories: drawing, ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, metalworks, mixed media, painting, pastels, photography, sculpture, and wood (including functional wares and furniture).

Application Process: New in 2026, applications can be submitted both electronically and via paper submission. All entries are due by March 13, 2026, and will be reviewed through a blind jury process in a single session.

Event Details: The 2026 event will be held at Beauford T. Anderson Park in Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin. Beyond visual artist exhibitors, the festival features a youth art tent, live music performances, and food vendors, all set against the scenic backdrop of the Kickapoo Valley hills.
