E Pluribus Unum Juried Art Exhibition

Juried exhibition inviting artists to reflect on American life and shared history through contemporary art. 40-50 works selected.

The Arts & Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville is pleased to announce E Pluribus Unum ('Out of many, one'), a new juried exhibition that invites artists to reflect on American life and our shared history through contemporary art. This compelling project encourages creative reflection on American ideals and our national narrative by inviting diverse interpretations through visual art.

The exhibition will feature approximately 40-50 fine art works encompassing all styles and genres from both emerging and established artists. Works will be selected by juror Josiah Golson for exhibition in the main lower gallery of the Emporium Center from March 6-29, 2026.

By bringing local artists and audiences together around shared creative expression, this project highlights Knoxville's role as a vibrant contributor to the national conversation on the country's past, present, and future.

The opportunity offers $500 in cash awards to selected artists, and shipping stipends are available for accepted entries. An entry fee applies. This project is supported by a grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission.

Artists interested in participating should visit the submission portal to learn more about eligibility requirements, submission specifications, and entry procedures. The Arts & Culture Alliance welcomes submissions from artists of all experience levels and artistic mediums that align with the E Pluribus Unum theme.
