EAA Abstract & Expressionism February Gallery Show
Escondido Art Association invites artists to submit 2D & 3D work for their February 2026 gallery exhibition.
The Escondido Art Association (EAA) announces a call to artists for their February 2026 Gallery Show themed "Abstract & Expressionism." This is an open call welcoming all subjects, though entries aligned with the theme are encouraged.
Event Details:
The show opens February 11, 2026 and runs through March 6, 2026. Artists are invited to submit and view their work during the opening reception on Saturday, February 14, from 5-7 p.m., where they can mingle with fellow artists and the public.
Submission Requirements:
Artists may submit up to three entries of both 2D and 3D work. The maximum size for 2D art is 36 inches on any side, including the frame. 3D work must also adhere to similar dimensional constraints.
Entry Fees:
Non-member artists pay $30 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry (2nd and 3rd). EAA members receive a discounted rate of $20 for the first entry and $5 for subsequent entries.
Take-In Information:
Artwork must be delivered on February 7, 2026, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Judging:
Katie Dolgov, Director of Exhibitions and Collections for the Oceanside Museum of Art, will judge this month's show. Winning entries will receive critical feedback from the judge, with comments posted on the association website for public viewing.
