Follow Fluxus Scholarship 2025/26

International artist scholarship supporting Fluxus art movement. €10,000 grant plus 3-month residency in Wiesbaden, June-August 2026.

The Follow Fluxus Scholarship 2025/26 is an annual award supporting international artists whose work connects to the transnational, multicultural, and interdisciplinary Fluxus art movement. Established in cooperation between the Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden and the city of Wiesbaden since 2008, the scholarship has supported seventeen artists to date.

The scholarship provides a €10,000 grant and includes a three-month working residency from June to August 2026. During this period, selected artists receive rent-free accommodation and studio space at the Kunsthaus Wiesbaden, consisting of a fully furnished living room/bedroom with shower/WC and a 70 square meter studio. Following the residency, an exhibition of the artist's work will be presented in the Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden's exhibition rooms.

Eligible applicants include international and national artists from all visual and performing arts disciplines who hold an art degree and possess relevant practice and exhibition experience. Self-taught artists with demonstrated special artistic achievements, exhibitions, and prizes may also apply.

The submitted project proposal should engage with Fluxus movement ideas and practices while contributing to its contemporary transformation in the 21st century. Artists are encouraged to develop innovative approaches that offer new perspectives on Fluxus-related art practices. The scholarship aims to establish new networks and strengthen existing artistic contacts, with the expectation that artists spend the majority of their residency period in Wiesbaden.
