The Sierra Seven Arts Alliance announces 'From Here to There: A Regional Traveling Exhibition,' an inaugural collaborative project connecting seven Sierra counties through art. This unique touring exhibition will showcase artwork from artists residing in Amador, Alpine, Calaveras, Inyo, Mariposa, Mono, and Tuolumne Counties. The exhibition runs from February through August 2026, traveling to multiple venues across the region. This interdisciplinary show welcomes submissions from all artistic disciplines, offering participating artists exceptional exposure to new audiences and communities throughout the Sierra region. The initiative aims to build a stronger, more connected cultural landscape while showcasing the creativity of local artists. The Sierra Seven Arts Alliance represents a collaborative network of leading arts organizations including Arts and Culture Alpine County, Amador County Arts Council, C5 Studios Community Arts Center, Inyo Council for the Arts, Mariposa County Arts Council, Mono Arts Council, and Tuolumne County Arts Alliance. Artists are invited to submit work that reveals and celebrates the connections weaving through the Central and Eastern Sierra, including landscapes, bioregions, communities, and future aspirations. This touring format provides unprecedented regional exposure for participating artists while strengthening cultural connections across the Sierra Nevada region.
