From Here to There: Sierra Seven Touring Art Exhibition
Regional touring art exhibition across 7 Sierra counties seeking submissions from all artistic disciplines. Tours Feb-Aug 2026.
The Sierra Seven Arts Alliance, a collaborative network of arts organizations across seven Sierra counties, is calling for artist submissions for 'From Here to There,' an inaugural touring art exhibition that will travel throughout the Central and Eastern Sierra region from February to August 2026. This unique interdisciplinary show will visit multiple venues across Mono, Inyo, Tuolumne, Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, and Mariposa counties, offering participating artists unprecedented exposure to new audiences and communities throughout the region. The exhibition aims to celebrate the connections that weave through the Sierra region, including grand landscapes, unique bioregions, diverse communities, and future aspirations. Artists play a vital role in illuminating these connections and telling the stories that define this place. The alliance seeks submissions from all artistic disciplines from living artists who reside in or maintain strong community ties to any of the seven participating counties. Artwork will be adjudicated and curated by a regional panel, ensuring quality and thematic coherence. This touring format provides artists with multiple exhibition opportunities from a single submission, significantly expanding their reach and impact. The Sierra Seven Arts Alliance includes Mono Arts Council, C5 Studios Community Arts Center, Inyo Council for the Arts, Arts and Culture Alpine County, Amador County Arts Council, Mariposa County Arts Council, and Tuolumne County Arts Alliance. The initiative is funded through Sierra Jobs First, supporting high-quality job growth, climate resilience, and economic prosperity in the region.
