Garage Art Call for Artists
Pop-up exhibition opportunity in Brady and Lincoln Garages. Submit hi-res images for vinyl installation in high-traffic areas for one year.
The Boise State Department of Public Safety is calling for entries in a pop-up exhibition and landmarking program. Selected artworks will be printed on vinyl and installed in 14 high-traffic areas of the Brady and Lincoln Garages for at least a calendar year. This is an excellent opportunity for artists to display their work in a prominent campus location.
Eligibility is open to all Boise State students, staff, and faculty from all departments. All genres, styles, and media are considered, including 2D and 3D works, performance documentation, ephemeral works, and stills from VR/AR/multimedia projects.
Artists may submit up to 5 works for consideration. All submissions must be original work created within the past five years and represented by single, high-resolution JPEG or PNG images at 300dpi, sized to print at either 36" height or 36" width. Files must be named following the format: lastname_title_medium_year.
Submissions must adhere to Boise State University's core values and present content appropriate for all age groups. Winners will be selected by panel based on technical mastery, originality, public appeal, and photographic documentation quality.
Prizes include campus parking passes for top two winners and hierarchical placement of work in prominent stair and elevator bays. Artists retain copyright ownership, and an Artist Release agreement is required. No monetary payment is provided.
