Golden Threads & Paper Creations Exhibition
Spectrum Gallery invites artists to submit fiber, paper, and artisanal work for an upcoming exhibition opening March 27, 2026.
Spectrum Art Gallery is calling for artists to submit work for its next exhibition titled "Golden Threads & Paper Creations." This show will celebrate the beauty and artistry of fiber and paper mediums through a diverse range of artistic expressions. The exhibition will feature wall art, fiber sculptures, and artisanal items including basketry, leather work, felted creations, collages, book art, quilled pieces, and intricate paper-cut work. The exhibition opens Friday, March 27, 2026, and runs through Saturday, May 9, 2026, providing a two-month window for showcasing artist work. Artwork receiving dates are scheduled from Sunday, March 15, 2026, through Thursday, March 19, 2026, between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Artists should plan to deliver their work during these specific dates and times. Additionally, Spectrum's Artisans Store is actively seeking new submissions of pottery, glass, home décor, children's toys, jewelry, and other accessories for retail sale. This is an excellent opportunity for fiber artists, paper artists, and crafters to gain exhibition exposure and potential sales through the gallery's retail component. The gallery is located at 61 Main Street in Centerbrook, Connecticut.
