Herberger Theater Artist Exhibition Call
Apply for upcoming Avian and Grand Canyon exhibits at Herberger Theater Center in Phoenix. Deadline January 16, 2025.
The Herberger Theater Center is inviting Arizona artists to apply for two upcoming exhibitions: an Avian Exhibit and a Grand Canyon Exhibit. The Avian Exhibit invites artists to explore the rich and diverse world of birds through visual art. Birds have long been symbols of beauty, freedom, fragility, and power. Artists are encouraged to submit work that captures the essence of avian life in all its forms, whether through literal depictions, abstract interpretations, or symbolic representations.
The Grand Canyon Exhibit celebrates the National Park's ever-changing landscape. The theater welcomes interpretations of the majestic Grand Canyon ranging from realism to impressionism to abstract art. Additionally, the theater hopes to bring awareness to the recent wildfires that devastated the North Rim through submitted artwork.
Both exhibitions will be on display at the Herberger Theater Center from April 3 through May 31, 2025. The exhibits will be professionally curated by Connie and A O Tucker. This is an excellent opportunity for Arizona-based visual artists to gain exhibition space in a prominent Phoenix arts venue and reach a wider audience.
