In Motion Members' Show - East End Arts

East End Arts in Riverhead is accepting submissions for "In Motion," the Elizabeth Richard Memorial Members' Show opening January 24, 2026. This exhibition celebrates the creativity and collaboration of East End Arts members under the shared theme of "Movement," symbolizing artistic energy, transformation, and the organization's own transition during the Riverhead Town Square revitalization project.

Artists of all disciplines are invited to submit one original piece that captures the essence of movement—whether through energy, rhythm, travel, emotion, or change. Accepted works may include kinetic sculptures, bold brushstrokes, experimental media, and any other artistic expression that reflects how art embodies the pulse of life itself.

A special Mini Members' Show also provides children ages 5-12 with their own dedicated gallery space to interpret the "In Motion" theme, encouraging the next generation of artists to share their imagination with the community.

The exhibition will be displayed at East End Arts' Main Street Galleries (133 East Main Street and 11 West Main Street) from January 24 through March 7, 2026. An opening reception is scheduled for Saturday, January 24 from 4-7 p.m., and a closing reception with People's Choice Award ceremony will be held Saturday, March 7 at 5 p.m. Following this exhibition, East End Arts will temporarily relocate during the Riverhead Town Square revitalization, with satellite galleries hosting future shows.
