In the Wind: 25th Anniversary Public Art Installation
Art House Productions seeks 100 artists from Hudson County for large-scale public art installation at Lincoln Park in Jersey City.
Art House Productions, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization celebrating its 25th Anniversary, announces a Call for Artists for "In the Wind," a large-scale public art installation. Curated by Tina Maneca and presented as part of the A.R.T. Phase II NJEDA Program, this project will transform Lincoln Park in Jersey City into a dynamic outdoor exhibition of contemporary artwork.
The installation invites artists who live, work, or maintain a studio in Hudson County to submit original artwork. One hundred selected works will be reproduced as 36" x 48" vertical flags and installed throughout Lincoln Park, creating a visually striking exhibition shaped by light, movement, and landscape. The project honors the vibrant creative community of Hudson County while activating public space through accessible, large-scale contemporary art.
Artists working in painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, textile, sculpture (photographically documented), mixed media, and digital media are encouraged to apply. Submitted artwork must be translatable into a high-resolution digital format suitable for large-scale flag production. Works will be evaluated based on artistic strength, clarity at scale, and impact within an outdoor public setting.
All production and installation costs are covered by Art House Productions. Flags will be available for purchase at $500 each, with 100% of proceeds going directly to participating artists. Sold works remain on view for the exhibition duration and are transferred to buyers following de-installation. Artists retain full copyright of their work.
Art House Productions is committed to ensuring equitable access. Artists requiring application assistance, language support, or reasonable accommodations are encouraged to contact the organization in advance.
