International Music Fairs and Events Call 2026
Two calls for Basque music artists to participate in BIME Bogotá and Dantz Network Congress with professional showcase opportunities.
The Etxepare Basque Institute has launched two separate calls for entries aimed at supporting the Basque music industry's international presence. The first opportunity invites Basque bands or solo artists to participate in the fifth edition of BIME Bogotá, a professional music fair scheduled for May 5-7, 2026, in Bogotá, Colombia. Selected artists will perform a showcase, access the three-day professional conference, and network with international music industry professionals. BASQUE.MUSIC. will provide budget allocation to cover performance costs, including airport-hotel transfers, hotel-concert venue transfers, and hotel-recording studio transfers. Up to four accreditations per selected project will be granted, and participants will engage in a BIME co-creation session. The second call targets three electronic and avant-garde music artists (producers, composers, musicians, or DJs) for the Dantz Network Congress, an international conference running March 4-7, 2026, in Donostia/San Sebastián. Selected participants will pitch to international professionals during speed networking sessions and perform in the BASQUE.MUSIC. showcase on March 5. One artist will have the opportunity to participate in an international Dantz Point event in 2026. During the conference, all selected participants receive accreditation to attend professional activities including conferences, expert panels, workshops, and networking sessions. Both opportunities support emerging Basque artists in gaining international exposure and building professional connections within their respective music sectors.
