LBIF Juried Art Exhibitions 2026
Three juried exhibition opportunities at Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts. Entry fee $35 per show. Deadlines from March to May 2026.
The Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences (LBIF) in Loveladies is calling for artists to apply for this year's juried exhibitions. The foundation's main gallery hosts a variety of free, open-to-the-public exhibitions each year, showcasing new directions in the visual arts, enabling arts education, introducing new media and offering a wide range of subject matter to inspire visitors. Exhibits mix internationally known artists with the work of talented local artists and are juried by reputable museum curators.
Three exhibition opportunities are available:
1. Works on Paper: A perennial favorite juried exhibition. Application deadline: March 22. Exhibition dates: mid-May to early July.
2. Coast: This exhibition celebrates and explores New Jersey's coastline, inviting artwork that reflects coastal imagery or is inspired by coastal themes. The invitation encourages artists to capture the spirit, environment and culture of life along the shore. Application deadline: May 17. Exhibition dates: Not specified.
3. Plein Air Plus (11th annual): Artists have the summer to create works, which are exhibited in September. Application deadline: May 17.
Eligible mediums include drawing, painting, hand-pulled prints, photography, mixed media, wall-hung 2D works in the crafts (clay, glass, metal, fiber, wood), video and computer-generated digital work displayed as prints. All artworks must have been created within the past two years. Submitting artists must be 18 years or older. Entry fee for each exhibition is $35.
