Open call for trans men and transmasculine theatre artists. June 20, 2026 cabaret show in NYC with $100 stipend per role.

Let's Hear It For the Boys returns to NYC for its third year as an all-transmasculine variety show celebrating trans man and transmasc talent. Co-produced by Max Raymond and Charlie Hano, this cabaret will be presented in-person on Saturday, June 20th, 2026 at 9:30pm ET at The Green Room 42 in NYC and via ticketed livestream. The production is seeking ASL Interpreters, Directors, Stage Managers, Writers, Performers, Musicians, Photographers, and other artists from the trans community. Performers include actors, singers, dancers, drag and burlesque artists, comedians, and performance artists. Musicians are specifically needed for piano, guitar, and bass, as well as a Music Director and Arranger. All team members receive a guaranteed $100 stipend per role (e.g., $200 for pianist/MD, $300 for pianist/MD/arranger). Both union and non-union artists are welcome. Performers and musicians must submit at least one video (5 minutes or less) demonstrating their artistry. Writers must submit completed work (songs, monologues, scenes, poems) under 5 minutes using no more than 6 performers; up to 3 pieces per writer accepted. Writers can submit from anywhere; performers should be NYC-based or available for June 1-20 rehearsals and show. In-person rehearsals (5-6 sessions) scheduled in June based on availability. Sound check is 3-4:15pm ET, performance 9:30-10:45pm ET on June 20th.
