Mas Fuertes Unidos 2026 Call for Latinx Artists

Creative Haverhill is inviting artists with Latinx roots to submit work to this year's Mas Fuertes Unidos exhibit in Haverhill, Massachusetts. This year's theme celebrates the diversity of creative voices among Latinx artists in the region.
Mas Fuertes Unidos was created by Melanie Palacios when she was a student at Haverhill High School, as a capstone art project. Inspired by her own Guatemalan roots, Palacios invited other artists with Central and South American roots to contribute to her show. Palacios is now a junior at the University of Miami, and the exhibit has grown into an annual celebration of Latinx creativity.
The exhibit goes on display Wednesday, August 5, at Creative Haverhill's downtown studio at 43 Washington Street, and runs through Saturday, September 26, when a public reception takes place from 2 to 6 p.m. during Creative Haverhill's Fall Art Walk. Each artist may submit up to three pieces. Submissions are due Sunday, July 12, by 11:59 p.m. through CreativeHaverhill.org. The program is supported in part by a grant from the Haverhill Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Mass Cultural Council.
