Muswellbrook Hospital Redevelopment Artist EOI
Submit artwork for the new Muswellbrook Hospital Community Health space. Up to 12 artworks will be selected and installed.
The Muswellbrook Hospital Redevelopment is creating a modern, welcoming healthcare facility for the community, and local creativity is being sought to be part of it. Health Infrastructure and Hunter New England Local Health District, in partnership with the Regional Arts Development Organisation (Arts Upper Hunter), are inviting artists to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to contribute to the new Community Health space.
This is an opportunity for artists to provide artworks that will help create calming and uplifting spaces for patients, families, and staff. Up to 12 artworks will be selected and installed in the new Community Health consultation rooms, reflecting the spirit and diversity of Muswellbrook.
The opportunity welcomes EOIs from artists at all career stages who are living or working in the Hunter New England Local Health District and who have a connection to Muswellbrook. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists are particularly encouraged to apply. Organisations and collaborative groups are also welcome to submit applications.
This is an excellent opportunity for local artists to contribute to a significant community healthcare project while creating meaningful artwork for a space where it will impact patients, families, and healthcare workers daily.
