Nevada Artists Association Colors and Textures Judged Show
Submit artwork celebrating colors and textures to this 2026 judged exhibition. Open to members and non-members with cash awards and ribbons.
The Nevada Artists Association invites artists to participate in the Colors and Textures Judged Show, a 2026 exhibition celebrating artistic expression through color and texture. This juried show welcomes both association members and non-members to submit their work.
The show runs from February 14 through March 27, 2026, at the Nevada Artists Association Art Gallery located at 449 W. King Street, Carson City, Nevada. Gallery hours are 12-4 PM, Tuesday through Sunday, with the gallery closed Mondays and during holiday breaks.
Artists may submit up to three entries per person. Entries must be at least 13 years old and follow specific size requirements: no more than 3 feet in width and 16 square feet total (including frame). Following the theme is encouraged but optional.
Entry fees are $10 for the first entry and $5 for each additional entry for NAA members, and $20 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry for non-members. All entries must be delivered Saturday, February 14, 2026, between 9 AM and 12 PM with no late entries accepted.
Judging occurs Sunday, February 15th by three judges, with winners announced at the reception on Thursday, February 19th (5-7 PM). Cash awards and ribbons are given for Best of Show, first through third place in each category, Honorable Mentions, and a Colors and Textures Award. A People's Choice award voted by the public is also presented.
All entries must be for sale. Unsold work may be picked up March 28, 2026, from 9 AM to 12 PM. The NAA retains a 25% commission on sold entries. NAA members must host at the gallery twice during the show or pay a $10 non-hosting fee.
