Northglenn Art on Parade 2026 Sculpture Competition
Northglenn Arts seeks six sculptures valued up to $35,000 each for year-long display at E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park. Open to Colorado artists.
Northglenn Arts is conducting an open entry competition to select six sculptures for the city's prestigious "Art on Parade" on-loan sculpture program. This annual event provides Colorado artists with significant exposure and sales opportunities for their work.
Selected sculptures will be installed at E.B. Rains, Jr. Memorial Park in Northglenn from May 2026 to May 2027. Each sculpture must be valued at no more than $35,000. All pieces must be for sale, as the program aims to provide artists with exhibition opportunities and potential sales.
Financial incentives include a $1,000 honorarium for each of the six selected finalists to help offset their expenses. Additionally, the artist whose piece wins the annual "People's Choice Award" will receive an additional $1,000. Historically, the People's Choice Award winner has been purchased and added to the City's permanent collection.
This high-profile public art initiative offers significant visibility for participating artists. Works will be displayed in a prominent city park location, reaching community members throughout the year-long exhibition period.
